Tent Camping
During the summer, we are delighted to welcome campers to our Old Orchard on selected weekends. Tents and small campervans are most welcome.
This is a family friendly campsite, and we are unable to accept bookings from stag or hen groups.
There are no pitches in the orchard – it is a case of pitching up wherever you fancy, and we limit numbers of visitors to ensure there is adequate space for everyone camping.
Facilities
It is a farm campsite, with a shower and toilet block as well as washing up facilities.
An authentic rural Herefordshire experience, camping in the Old Orchard is a quiet and idyllic place to take your family or group to enjoy the summer.
There is one male shower and one female shower, one male toilet plus urinal, two female toilets, and an accessible toilet.
It is a lovely ten minute walk to the Yew Tree Inn through the orchards. Our partners Firebird Kitchen serve wood-fired Neapolitan pizza, seasonal salads and desserts at the pub. Serving hours are Thursdays and Fridays (5-9pm) and Saturdays (12-9pm).
FAQ
Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times.
We have a farm collie who will greet you, please keep your food secure in your car or zipped in your tent, don’t let him steal it!
No loud music after 10pm and please keep conversations quiet and respectful of others who are there at the same time.
There are no electrical hookups or hard standing options. Caravans under 6m are welcome if you don’t require those.
Broome Farm is a working farm with machinery and vehicles in use. Please be mindful of this during your stay and ensure that children are supervised at all times.
Price
The price is a simple £10 per adult, with accompanied children under 18 being free.
We can provide a limited number of fire pits with firewood available at £5 per bag.
Cider Tour
Make your visit memorable by arranging a tour of the farm in advance. The price is £15 per person with a minimum group size of 4. Please email info@rosscider.com to book.
