FAQ

  • What is the earliest I can arrive?
    • If you have a full event ticket with camping, you are very welcome to arrive on the Thursday.
  • What is ‘Cider Club’?
    • Cider Club is a monthly event we run at the Yew Tree, where a guest producer comes to our pub and gives a talk and tasting with their products. The Festival Cider Club is a special warm-up event where we do the same thing. Tickets will be available when the international guest is confirmed!
  • What do I do once I arrive on site?
    • Our volunteer stewards will help you park. Then please make your way down to the admin desk in the festival barns (signposted) to register, receive your wristband & glass.
  • What do I need to bring to sign in?
    • We check you off our list of ticket holders, so nothing, but please make sure you have ID with you to make sure you get given the correct wristband.
  • How do I buy drinks?
    • We can accept card or cash payment at the festival bars – cash may be needed for some of the guest cidermaker stalls on Saturday.
  • Are there showers?
    • Yes, we have a shower block on site as well as additional showers brought in for the festival.
  • Are there toilets?
    • Yes, there are gents/ladies toilets, as well as a disabled toilet and a unisex toilet.
  • Can I camp with my car?
    • Not in the main camping orchard, due to space, but if you want to camp with your vehicle you will be able to do so in the surrounding orchard rows.
  • Can I bring my dog?
    • Yes, of course, but please under control, be mindful of other people around you and always clean up after them.
  • Can I bring my caravan?
    • Yes, as long as you have purchased the caravan pass. It is an additional £10 per vehicle, but only one is required for the whole festival. You will be helped to park by our volunteer stewards when you arrive – take a look at this map to plan your stay. Please be aware there are no hook-ups on the farm, and to be considerate of other vans/campers as we have limited space.
  • Are there hook-ups?
    • There are no hook-ups available on the farm.
  •  What meals and hot drinks will be available?
    • There will be food served for breakfast, lunch and evening on Friday and Saturday from different vendors.
  • Will there be veggie/vegan/gluten-free food?
    • Yes, absolutely. We are committed to providing all options for you, although admittedly as this is only a small festival, the choice will be slightly smaller if you have special requirements.
  • Will there be things to drink other than cider?
    • Yes, as well as cider we will serve a variety of beers, wines, perry, soft drinks, apple juice, etc. The only thing there won’t be is fruit cider!
  • Will there be any tickets on the door if I find someone is suddenly free to come with me?
    • There are unlikely to be tickets available on the door.
  • Can I have a fire in the campsite?
    • No – there is zero tolerance on fires during the festival weekend due to health and safety. This includes: candles, tin foil barbecues, campfires and any type of naked flame.

  • Can I arrive on Thursday?
    • Yes, you can come as early as you like on Thursday.
  • Can I arrive late on Friday/Saturday?
